Silly Nothing, 6.5 x 10", Watercolor Ink & Pencil on Paper
Available for sale.
As the title says, this is a silly nothing. And sometimes those can be the most fun! I did this one a couple of years ago when I was down in the dumps. Don't ask me how that emotion translates to such bright and alive colors. I simply do not understand it myself! I took some watercolor ink and poured it on the paper, then used plastic wrap to smooth out the colors. I left the wrap on until it was near to dry. When I removes the wrap I didn't see at all what I want (I was depressed, how could I see anything positive in my work!). Days and weeks passed. I looked at the painting anew and drew silly elementary flower shapes around the blue spots. I think the painting worked out well, kinda fun, kinda kicky!

This is a great book from which I learned a great deal!
