Untitled Abstract 1, 6 x 6", Acrylic on Paper
$45
This one was fun to make. Just put a number of different acrylic colors (some blended, most straight from the tube - they are going to mix on the paper eventually anyway) on your palette. Grab a couple of different palette knifes and start adding color to the paper. Keep adding and scraping away colors until you have a painting you like. Sometimes I try to stick with just complimentary colors. In this one, I just let loose. Whatever color FELT right, I put down on the paper. I'd remove it a couple of seconds later, leaving only a ghost of color where the paint had been. Next, I try this on much larger paper.
